Linda Sheldon Photography at Side Street Studio

November 7, 2008

Looking for a locally inspired card? Side Street Studio in Oak Bay Village carries a selection of my 4-colour and black and white art cards featuring Chinatown, the Oak Bay Marina and architectural and floral themes from Victoria and abroad. Stop by and see the many fine items in this one of a kind store in the village (just a few doors down from the Blethering Place at Oak Bay Avenue and Monterey Street)

November 7, 2008

Please drop by and see me at the University Centre Foyer (across from the Bus loop) on Tues., Nov. 18th. I will have seasonal cards, gift tags, black and white prints and my new messenger bags on sale for the gifting season! Hours:  10 am – 5 pm!

The University of Victoria’s Hearts and Hands Craft Fair offers good reason for holiday gift buyers to shop early for meaningful deals. The annual United Way fundraiser has raised approximately $10,500 for the United Way of Greater Victoria since its inception in 2001. On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the 8th annual fair will include items to adorn yourself or the home (jewelry, pottery, art); spoil yourself (body care items); warm yourself (ponchos, sweatshirts and toques); and more. This year’s organizers are Helen Rezanowich (Women’s Studies), Lynn McCaughey (Career Services) and Sheila Adams (Medieval and Religious Studies). Proceeds from the fair’s registration fee and basket raffle support the UVic 2008 United Way campaign.
